Product details:
Wera 7432 ESD Kraftform Adjustable Torque Screwdriver (0.90-1.50 Nm) With Rapidaptor Quick-Release Chuck - 074784 The Wera Kraftform ESD Adjustable Torque Screwdriver has been developed for torque-controlled tightening of screw connections found in electronics such as smart phones, mobile phones, cameras, electronic appliances and laboratory equipment. The integrated circuit boards in these items can malfunction or fail when exposed to electrostatic energy fields, making the use of ESD safe screwdrivers a necessity. This ESD safe torque screwdriver meet the requirements for ESD-safe screwdrivers as defined in the European standard EN 100-015 Part 1, being made of a defined conductive material. The electrostatic surface resistance of the Wera ESD material is between the range of 1000000 ohm and 1000000000 ohm, which securely protects against electrostatic energy and associated damage. Wera's multi-component Kraftform handle, with special hard and soft zones, allows for fast working while protecting the palm of the hand. It also incorporates a non-roll feature to prevent the screwdriver from rolling away when it is put down. The required torque can be quickly set by hand, with an easy to read scale showing the current level of torque. Rather than special blades, the screwdriver has a built in Rapidaptor that is suitable for use with normal 1/4" hexagon insert bits or even 1/4" sockets. This torque level can be pre-set to a value between 0.90-1.60 Nm at intervals of 0.05 Nm, or unlimited torque can be used for loosening seized screws. Measurement accuracy is +/- 6% in accordance with the European standard EN ISO 6789 and the torque screwdriver is supplied with a calibration certificate.
